Gallions children perform at Eton College

On Saturday the 31st of January 2015, Gallions Primary School children performed in the beautiful school hall of Eton College in a very special concert to raise money for the Gallions Music Trust.

This fantastic event was organised by Eton College’s Penn House, with whom Gallions enjoys a growing partnership. Performances from virtuoso violinist Tasmin Little OBE, Patron of the Gallions Music Trust, and the Eton College Chamber Orchestra delighted the audience and the Gallions Senior Orchestra took to the stage to perform an arrangement from Karelia Suite by Sibelius. Gallions pupils Derrick Iroanusi and Martin Delgado, who receives a Musical Footsteps bursary for his individual instrumental tuition through the Gallions Music Trust, showcased their talents by performing solos, and further pieces were heard from lower strings group Bass Attack and violin ensemble Vivace Strings.

We are hugely grateful to all at Penn House for their hard work in organising this wonderful event and providing the children from Gallions with an experience that they will never forget.
